Maritime Devt: Somatrix Marine signs MoU with South Africa’s Sandock Austral Shipyards
In an effort to strengthen maritime relationship between Nigeria and South Africa, as well as promoting the development of modern marine infrastructure, a Nigerian indigenous ship design and construction company, Somatrix Marine Ltd has concluded the signing of a memorandum of understanding on strategic partnership with Sandock Austral Shipyards, SAS.

In acknowledgement of his robust contributions in the development of maritime sector in Nigeria and African content, the MD/CEO, Somatrix Marine Limited, Engr. Eferebo I. Sylvanus has been honoured with award of recognition as Africa Distinguished Personality On Marine.
The award was conferred on the business mogul and philanthropist by Beauty of Africa Group, a subsidiary of Chris Events at a well-attended ceremony in Abuja which attracted the presence of notable industry players, politically exposed individuals and entrepreneurs.
